DVK encourages Pennies and Pallers to start inserting their theme song into their personal playlists, and to introduce people to the song. They are getting pumped for the upcoming live show and want Pennies and Pallers to join them in Galveston as long as they don’t #rtrrgt (ruin the rrgt)(but he doesn’t make it a hashtag). They want to do a room hug at the first live Pen Pals. DVK runs at a full sprint to the letters while hitting his thighs with his hands, which is similar to Rory’s foley work. Dan says that he didn’t end up going to the wedding mentioned a few episodes back, and they joke that it would be funny if he did show up that the entire wedding party got super mad at him for showing up and thinking he was so important. For the first letter they talk about bringing up kids, and Rory says that he hopes that his daughter lives to seek enlightenment and to never stop learning. He goes on a bit of a #RRM talking about the environment, and social assistance etc. and being a responsible human being in general. Rory steps out during the 2nd letter and DVK encourages people to write in about whether they are a Penny or a Paller when they send in letters. They then start looking up all the National Days. June 1st is National Pen Pals days. They joke about how there should be a movie called National Day which would star Nick Cage. Rory’s birthday is on National Root Beer Float Day, but DVK’s birthday is National Work Like a Dog Day. DVK starts working the lyrics of “Your Song” by Elton John into their conversation. DVK wants to have a National Swim in a Lake Day for his birthday.
